Cape To Cape

This about my crossing from Cape Ann to Cape Cod by Kayak. A 44 mile journey in open ocean, 20 miles offshore in Massachusetts bay. We were the first to make the crossing by kayak. It took a summer of training, and a month to get the right weather window in early October. We had a group of 4 in two double kayaks. The use of handheld GPS units, experience and the desire for adventure helped us to be the first. A trip I will never forget.
